my other project....a 57 bel air.
I found this in Ala. last August,a one owner still running on original 283 pwr glide set up.Its complete and solid other than a rusty trunk floor.I was gona sell her to finance my 37 coupe but the kids said keep her so i have begun the work,so far a fresh 350 with thumpr cam and new pistons,a TCI th350. i just cut the trunk floor out yesterday and have a new one coming. Im thinking candy apple red or corvette yellow.

Now it's a sticky...
Hey Man,
I just made this thread a STICKY because it looks like a build thread to me and we like to keep them at the top of the categories.

I'm impressed...
Two things immediately come to mind here... While I'm not quite sure why you have decided to make this modification, I certainly see the risk and difficulty involved and I applaud your willingness to plunge into a task of this sort. The second thing is the fact that you have two builds going at the same time, the other being your '37 Ford which is also build thread here in the CARS category. I thought I was the only guy here crazy enough to be doing more than one project at the same time. Of course I have an excuse, I have S C A D S, (Senior Citizen Attention Deficit Syndrome), which basically mean's that I tend bounce from one thing to another. Unfortunately, I don't seem to possess the speed you have. Just about everyone here that has a thread going is faster than I am.
Later Man...
