DARKSIDER In the world of automotive hobbyists a Darksider is one who modifies and or customizes any and all sorts of vehicles. The Darksiders are in a class of their own simply because they endeavor to be different and do things that others would not attempt for a number of reasons mostly being related to a lack of ability and fear of non conformity.

This is a forum for people who think outside the box in everything they do. It doesn’t matter if you are modifying or building from scratch. It doesn’t matter what brand or brands of vehicles or components you are using. It doesn’t matter if you are working on a mini car or a bus.

We will not be asking you for donations or any kind of monetary payments. We will be asking for help in terms moderators and encouraging you to spread the word and add to our membership.

    Hi Folks,
    It has occurred to me that there is no category here that is non-specific enough to cover all the little tricks and project ideas we dream up and want to discuss or do. with that thought in mind I decided to place this thread as a sticky that people can use for this purpose.

    This is the place to bring up and discuss ideas you have for vehicles from any of the categories we have here. This way the truck guys, the car guys, the engine builders, the frame and suspension guys, the fabricators, the body guys and all the rest of the various experts get together and exchange ideas. Much of what we do in all these areas is stuff that has not been done before or in a particular way before.

    If you are doing unusual and interesting stuff in any way connected to the Darkside way of doing things tell us about it here. Even stuff about your shop, garage, tools and equipment are good for this thread.
