    Haha
I like trucks from the 1930s.
I have a 35 Ford that I built from the frame up.
It was bad junk when I started so of course it got a 350/350
    and old timey 3 deuces
    and modern air conditioning!
and 25,000 miles a year for the first 5 years I drove it.
    (I had a girlfriend 420 miles away)

You can post pictures in galleries from your computer. If you want pics in the threads they have to be hosted online someplace like photobucket or your own website.

Just click on the little icon above that looks like a computer monitor amd put the URL of your picture in and click OK.

    Hope that helps...

where is this 'computer monitor' of which you speak?
I still have to paint the hood and back fenders.
I got a chrome headlite bar and an aluminum grille for it and want a chrome front bumper.
It will get better looking wheels of course and the tailgate has taken a lot of welding and reinforcing and needs more still before paint.

I looked up the weight of the 460 and its about 340 pounds heavier than a Y block and this truck had a six in it so I guess I will have to add leaves and maybe re-arch the spring pack.
I like it low in the front, but its only about one inch from the bump stops

I host my pics on photobucket. At photobucket, I hold the mouse over the pic, til the drop down menu pops out, and I roll the mouse to IMG, highlight, then copy and paste directly to my post. Works just fine for me.

This Model A has been 'fixed'.
    I corrected Henrys deficiencies
    Its a long list
The high compression head is the best thing you can do for a stock engine.
The fully syncronised 3 speed with overdrive is Wonderful after dealing with Henrys awful double-clutching can't-downshift tranny.
The 1976 Chevy self energizing self adjusting brakes mounted in 1940 drums are nice.
This picture shows the dropped floor in the trunk.
It was taken before completion, its painted black now.
It bolts in and lifts out
    No butcher work
Henry wasted a lot of room in the trunk and I drive this car thru 3 states and need room to carry stuff.

all you guys with modern trucks from the 1950s Empty dropped trunk in modelA

Post  tomget Mon Jun 22, 2009 12:52 am

    Hey Bgarret

I really like that "dropped trunk" treatment. I never thought of that. That's a great idea. What year is that yellow truck of yours? Is that 57-60 F100?? Just curious. It looks cool.

    I have been painting it.
I hope to get the hood and grille back on it today.
Next I will put 59 Caddy taillights in the rear fenders then paint them.
