Got this Sept. 12th, 2009 delivered for $400. Figured it was cheaper than hauling my uncle's F6 out of the woods 300+ miles away. Engine is freed up, but haven't tried starting it yet. I'm thinking of putting a wrecker bed on it, and will make a genuine yard truck. Not quite shop truck status, but will help in the heavy moves, while I find a small economical run-about.

Hi Scott,
Not too shabby Man... That was a great deal considering it was delivered. That looks a lot like a Marion dump bed I had on a '59 Chevy 2 ton. Is the bed and /or the hydraulics any good?

They said while they dragged the truck, he let off the clutch and operated the dump box. Everything worked. The box is a Galion 3yd, and the Hildy's Blue book shows this model in it. The book also shows Marions in there as well.

I'm not sure but I think both Galion and Marion were made here in Ohio in towns of the same names. I could be wrong about that.

Galion for sure was made in OH. Probably Marion as well. Back then that was where the steel was at....not China.
