Its true that I need some money for something I plan to buy and its true that I have so many ol trucks that I have too many....
but I dont wanna sell this one...

The tailgate, rear fenders, hood and radiator shell go with it

The guy paid me and I delivered it 125 miles away.

I used my 1939 Ford pickup to tow it.

Originally I paid $200 for the 36 and another, a 1940 Ford truck.

I wouldnt mind making that kind of profit more often.

I'm not sure of the exact count but I have about 9 1940 Ford pickups in the same condition as that 36

no kidding ...... well whatdya know . 40's . my fav year for the oldies . one that body 38-40 was the first flathead powered cars i can remember as that's what my grandpa raced , and i just love the looks of 'em .......... let me know as even if i didn't jump i know someone who most likely would ... no 2 door sedans eh ????? don't have to have fenders or anything , just the body and frame and suspension . that's what gramps raced and i've been wanting to build a clone of ol' yeller 7 divided . same price ????????????????

I do have a raw gutted empty shell of a 1940 Ford tudor.
Its stored way out in the country near Minden Louisiana with a rolling chassis for a 41 Ford and another 41 frame and rear axle.
I dont go there very often, havent looked at it in years.
The 40 pickups are near the southern Missouri state line.
None of the trucks have a grille.
I have some stuff way out in texas too.
My stuff is kinda scattered.

Wow, lol. At least my stuff was scattered all in neighboring counties, until I got my own place. Are any of those pickups big trucks?

I've never heard of a big truck being called a pickup.
I do have a 1939 Ford 1 1/2 ton missing the drivers door and one of the front fenders.
I towed it home behind my 39 pickup with a tow bar

good point. pickup, big truck, lol. It's just I've wanted to copy Dick Cutting's 1941 M&H truck, and haven't had the chance yet. And now I have a yardful of others.

other than those two 360 fe's , not much of anything i ain't using or need at present ............ sold the mustang 2 , driving the bird , i'd give you her new minivan ( it's a chevy ??????????? ) but that might get me in a lot of trouble . gotta pick up a 93 bird , lx minus the 5.0 and tranny for parts for my 95 and maybe some things for the 53 and or a future project . dunno whaddya looking for ??? the 360's both ran when pulled . the 70 has a heavy four gear bellhousing on it and really needs a rebuild , the 74 has a c-6 hanging off it that needs going through . last burnout in the truck she only had low and reverse . coulda been that funky shifter , but i dunno i pulled it right after . theres a 65 bird 390 4v intake that's with 'em . was / am gonna turn at least one of 'em into a 390 { simple crank kit } eventually . oh and that dain frame i need to get to ohio and get , but that's for my 53 . something to change around and not hack up my oe one . will have two sets of 53-56 effie drum brakes , front , and eventually the dana 44 with 3.92:1 gears in the 53 sitting . traded the 9 inch for something else since im putting a 8.8 in it .

and I have a 20 yr old friend who may want a 360 for a replacement for his 71 Ford pickup
Hes a good kid, got his uncles 71 when he was 14 yrs old and he is in love with it
He has done a good job of fixing it up

I havent looked at the 40 tudor in years, I dont think it is very valuable.
its sitting on a home made farm trailer that was built on a 41 Ford chassis.
The chassis is so complete it still has the hubcaps

well maybe we can make a deal . hades i'd give your freind , you or whoever , both the 360's and associated parts and you the front brakes , both sets , for the remains , and hope like hades it's salvageable .........if you think it's fair . then we'd have the transportation issues , lol , i think we got someone hired to cover me and the boss to cover our respective arses when we need to do something , and if no one has broken their shtuff a truck isnt hard to find ......... famous last words . you got a pic of the car ???????????????? i'm gonna look and see if we can do pm's here and send you my email address .
