Well if my Slick didn't wrankle you this one will. My other truck is also a FoMoCo product it is an Aerostar. And I don't care what people think. This truck probably doesn't qualify as a truck in most folks minds, but it is.Last November I hauled some military fitings, gun mounts, snd sundry other parts for PTF-3, a Viet Nam Era Nasty Class PT boat, in fact the lead boat in the Tonkin Gulf Incident of 1963, we're refurbishing. Aero, a 16',2 axle, flatbed, tagalong trailer & the frieght loaded on it scaled 13,780". I hauled 4 400 gallon fuel tanks up there to trade that were 12'-0" high & 14 of the 16 feet of my trailer long. BIG load. This van has 235,000+ miles on a Cologne 4.0L V-6 & 4 spd AOD A/T. It's a 2+2 with rear air, tunes, full tint and is an XLTN Model which is opposite of the Plane Jane and utilitarian type van. It sits on Mercury Grand Marquis Alloy 15 X 8 turbo wheels with 225 X 75 R-15 Bridgestones. It has HD 1000#)Sensatrack coilover loadlevelers, and I will not part with this truck. I can eat off the underside it's so pristine, in spite of the hi mileage and all.it gets 24 mpg when it's not working it's ass off, which isn't very often because I work it hard, but I care for it regularily and I do what it takes to keep it up. So now you have the rest of my truck story. DAve has seen pix of this "wonder Beast"
