Darksider's Realm

(this is not a place for lazy video game freaks. We Darksiders have been around doing our thing for decades before the mindless couch blobs latched onto the term Darksider)

DARKSIDER In the world of automotive hobbyists a Darksider is one who modifies and or customizes any and all sorts of vehicles. The Darksiders are in a class of their own simply because they endeavor to be different and do things that others would not attempt for a number of reasons mostly being related to a lack of ability and fear of non conformity.

This is a forum for people who think outside the box in everything they do. It doesn’t matter if you are modifying or building from scratch. It doesn’t matter what brand or brands of vehicles or components you are using. It doesn’t matter if you are working on a mini car or a bus.

We will not be asking you for donations or any kind of monetary payments. We will be asking for help in terms moderators and encouraging you to spread the word and add to our membership.

Can't think of too many that aren't Ford or big rig related, so I'll put some of them down.

Concours parts and restoration...Carson City, Nevada. Reproductions for more original style, but a lot of stuff too help cosmetically. www.concoursparts.com

Mid Fifty parts for 53-56 Ford trucks. They also have Classic Haulers which is 48-52, but that site is not finished yet www.midfifty.com

Sacramento Vintage Ford lots of cool stuff for the 48-6? builder www.vintageford.com maybe vintagefords.com

4 state trucks. Home of the Chrome Shop Mafia CMT's "Trick my Truck" Lots of parts, and shiny stuff for big rigs....chrome stacks, boxes, fenders, air horns etc. www.4statetrucks.com

And of course, Ford Truck Enthusiasts online forum. www.ford-trucks.com everything from pre World War II to current production.

    Here's a couple more.

    www.jwrodgarage.com

An affordable place for IFS and other suspension kits. We actually used one of their IFS kits in a 37 Chryslaer at work, and it was a very good quality kit. We ordered one of the economy complete kits, and it was affordable, and when they accidentally sent two left side suspension hats, they priority shipped us a right side, and paid return shipping on the extra left one. Great bunch of folks, and very willing to help if you have any questions.

    www.bigjims.net

Large selection of outside windshield visors, and fender skirts, and such. Just about every type of older car or truck. Check em out.
