DARKSIDER In the world of automotive hobbyists a Darksider is one who modifies and or customizes any and all sorts of vehicles. The Darksiders are in a class of their own simply because they endeavor to be different and do things that others would not attempt for a number of reasons mostly being related to a lack of ability and fear of non conformity.

This is a forum for people who think outside the box in everything they do. It doesn’t matter if you are modifying or building from scratch. It doesn’t matter what brand or brands of vehicles or components you are using. It doesn’t matter if you are working on a mini car or a bus.

We will not be asking you for donations or any kind of monetary payments. We will be asking for help in terms moderators and encouraging you to spread the word and add to our membership.

    Hi Folks,

    I have been doing a little research lately regarding pictures of service stations, drive-in theaters and restaurants and old car dealers as well as other stuff from the '50s and early '60s. It occurred to me that there are probably a lot of you folks out there that might have some pictures you could share with us of these old places. I also think pictures of current day cruise-ins that are held at the few remaining drive-in restaurants would be interesting. I'll start this out with something simple and let you folks build on this.

    GOT PICTURES ??? REDSTAR1

    Above is a picture from an old newspaper of what was for a long time a piece of Americana right here in my hometown. It syrvived until about five years ago when it was torn down to make way for one of those Mega drugstores. I liked looking at the old station more even though it was closed for ten years.

    OK, I think you folks get the idea, now lets get a look at some of your stuff.

    That looks just like a place in Riverside, Ohio but the pumps are now long gone. I'll see if I can get a picture.
