Darksider's Realm

(this is not a place for lazy video game freaks. We Darksiders have been around doing our thing for decades before the mindless couch blobs latched onto the term Darksider)

DARKSIDER In the world of automotive hobbyists a Darksider is one who modifies and or customizes any and all sorts of vehicles. The Darksiders are in a class of their own simply because they endeavor to be different and do things that others would not attempt for a number of reasons mostly being related to a lack of ability and fear of non conformity.

This is a forum for people who think outside the box in everything they do. It doesn’t matter if you are modifying or building from scratch. It doesn’t matter what brand or brands of vehicles or components you are using. It doesn’t matter if you are working on a mini car or a bus.

We will not be asking you for donations or any kind of monetary payments. We will be asking for help in terms moderators and encouraging you to spread the word and add to our membership.

Darksider's Realm

A message board & forum for automotive builders, fabricators and customizers who think outside the box.

OK, here she is...my '53 F-100 that will be eventually riding on a 86 f250 4WD chassis with a 6.9 diesel drive line. Figured I had better get my build thread up and going before Dad...aka Darkside Dave had a cow...lol. I also needed to start working on it before the wife made me get rid of it all...really she has been a good sport about it all

I can't believe it, you finally started your build thread. I better look outside and see if the world is coming to an end.

First let me say that looks like nice work you did.

Second, were you thanking me for the air conditioning installation or were you referring to me getting you into all this sort of stuff in the first place. That could be considered a blessing or a curse.

The video was really cool. I gotta get me one of those digital video cameras with that feature you have. If I did that it would really look like I was getting a lot done.

Now you only have about a hundred more of those videos to make. Keep up the good work Man...

    Thanks Guys

Post  FRANKENTRUCK on Mon Jun 14, 2010 11:37 pm

Thanks for the complements guys.... The only reason I was using that nice posterboard is because I found it stuffed behind the desk, left over from the kid's project stock...otherwise I would prob be using soda carton boxes.. I must say that working on the truck is addicting once I get off my can and get started doing something.
Untill next time....may your work week be short and your weekends long...(for us yonger guys who still have to go do the day job thing)

DANG !!! Still no answer... It's like the place must have been mistaken for a meth lab and raided or something. Rumour has it that the place has been turned into a furniture shop or something. Wonder what happened to the truck???

No, not a whole year,,, just ten months. Let me see... At this rate I calculate it should take about 150 years to complete your truck... Give or take ten years...

    Catch you next year Man...

So, what happened to the addiction??? Did you go to some kind of a twelve step program to rid yourself of this addicition? I'm looking for some kind of program to accelerate that kind of addiction.

    Later Man...
