DARKSIDER In the world of automotive hobbyists a Darksider is one who modifies and or customizes any and all sorts of vehicles. The Darksiders are in a class of their own simply because they endeavor to be different and do things that others would not attempt for a number of reasons mostly being related to a lack of ability and fear of non conformity.

This is a forum for people who think outside the box in everything they do. It doesn’t matter if you are modifying or building from scratch. It doesn’t matter what brand or brands of vehicles or components you are using. It doesn’t matter if you are working on a mini car or a bus.

    OK Folks...

Tell us what you got from the old man with the white beard...

Forget about the socks and the ties, and we don't even want to hear about your Snuggy. TMI...

Just tell us about the tools and neat parts, you know, stuff like that. Even if you bought it for yourself...

    Later Folks...

I got about 2 feet of heavy, wet snow. Which was enough to snap the plow blade right off of the frame, and bent the pivot rods. Worst part is it's only December, lots of Winter left. Sad Other than that I didn't get anything from anybody. So I bought a $15 die cast '40 Ford pickup.

Hmmm, sounds like something I would do. I didn't get anything either but that's at least partly due to the fact I discourage friends and family from getting me stuff. I try to explain to them that when it comes to the sort of stuff I might normally get, I probably already have it. I usually get what I need when I need it and my wife does the same. I didn't even buy myself a present this year. However, that stuff doesn't make or break Christmas for me one way or the other. However, I realize that a lot of people are big in the Christmas gifting department and for that reason I thought this would be a good thread.

I got a set of line wrenches and battery tester and probably best of all enough Christmas cash from my mother in-law to buy the donor Ranger for my ratrod project. If she knew what I was doing with the money she would just SHIT OH well she"s 200 miles away she"ll never know LOL
