Darksider's Realm

(this is not a place for lazy video game freaks. We Darksiders have been around doing our thing for decades before the mindless couch blobs latched onto the term Darksider)

DARKSIDER In the world of automotive hobbyists a Darksider is one who modifies and or customizes any and all sorts of vehicles. The Darksiders are in a class of their own simply because they endeavor to be different and do things that others would not attempt for a number of reasons mostly being related to a lack of ability and fear of non conformity.

This is a forum for people who think outside the box in everything they do. It doesn’t matter if you are modifying or building from scratch. It doesn’t matter what brand or brands of vehicles or components you are using. It doesn’t matter if you are working on a mini car or a bus.

We will not be asking you for donations or any kind of monetary payments. We will be asking for help in terms moderators and encouraging you to spread the word and add to our membership.

Way too many names to say welcome to everyone, so how about one thread that says it to all. Welcome to the Darksiders Realm for everyone that has decided to join us. It appears to be a pretty strong migration of FTE members here, and some names I've not seen before. Hopefully the efforts of Dave, and the others involved in the creeation of this site turn out very fruitful. Since most other sites get too mixed up with light and dark, and some groups are left out, while others are abused for their style, this should turn out alright for everyone NOT working on a concours perfect resto. I like the break down here too because it offers more than just trucks, or cars, make and model. Check out some of the different sub forums, and enjoy the show. Also, Dave will be sending out an e-mail bulletin when I know the date that photos of my 1953 Ford F-750 (F-800, or whatever it is) are aired on Power Block T.V., hosted by the ever popular Courtney Hansen. It will be in August, and they started filming yesterday. Good luck to everyone on their projects, and hey, get out there and mingle. You're all mostly haning in this part of the site, and there's much more to see. cyclops

I pushed an 1160 cat in a cab over '64 ford with a 10 speed road ranger many times from Worland Wy to Denver, all around the Denver area picking up freight and back for an employer back in the 80s. It never was fast, but always got the job done, on not too much fuel. That is until they laid me off and the boss tried to go himself when it was 40 below. After the tow truck brought him back th 8 miles he made it I found 13 empty ether cans beside where it was normaly parked....Roasted pistons anyone?
