Been a while since I've been here. Thought an update was in order.
Traded my '57 F100 Custom Cab Big Window for this '66. It's 352 FE big block, T-5 Mustang tranny, lowered, Mustang seats. Needs some cosmetics but driving the shit out of it since the trade. Put 700 miles on in one day and have several 300 mile days on it. Fun ride.
Then there's the '62 Unibody we just picked up a couple weeks ago. Drove 1926 miles in 2 days, 6 hours of sleep and went thru Iowa, Missouri (twice), Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisana, Texas (where this truck was finally found), Oklahoma. Fun trip for a basically rust free truck. Very solid. It's getting the works. Dakota front suspension, T-Bird Super Coupe rear IRS, Y-Block with a T-5 behind it and some suprises. Stay tuned for this one.
Since we have the '62 we're selling this green '61 uni we have. $650 and it's yours. Includes some patch panels and spare parts.
Then there is the Falcon. Been neglecting it too long so we're restarting that built, too. Tube frame, 460/c6, 6-71 with an Enderle injector. Fun little car.
Retiring from work in less than 3 months so time is available. Money will be a litle shorter but no more work every day!
Will keep you posted,
