DARKSIDER In the world of automotive hobbyists a Darksider is one who modifies and or customizes any and all sorts of vehicles. Hi Folks,

Recently I was killing time at a local Border's Book Store. About once every year or so I take a look at the magazine rack. I have quit buying mags because I have a problem with paying three to five bucks for 75% advertising content. So, I do my mag reading there and once in a great while I buy something if there is content worthwhile to me. One mag I look for is OL' SKOOL RODS. I find it a novel piece of entertainment but in addition to that they have a guy who editorializes in each issue. His latest edotorial which is previewed here, http://www.olskoolrodz.com/happy-daz/ is something I think everybody shouild read. So far I have not found it complete anywhere online, but going to this link will tell you waht it is about. You can probably do as I did and go to a magazine counter and read it without buying the mag. The title of the piece is HAPPY DAZ' by Cadillac Joe Vincent.

In this editorial Joe sumarizes the situation at hand and makes a case for saving the American car industry. I for one have my own reasons for wanting to see the Big 3 survive and I openly admit there are priobably a l;ot of good cases for not bailing them out. However sometimes the logical thing is not always the best thing to do and I believe this guy does make a case for that point. I strongly urge all of you to find this piece and read it.

    Later Folks...
