Darksider's Realm

(this is not a place for lazy video game freaks. We Darksiders have been around doing our thing for decades before the mindless couch blobs latched onto the term Darksider)

DARKSIDER In the world of automotive hobbyists a Darksider is one who modifies and or customizes any and all sorts of vehicles. The Darksiders are in a class of their own simply because they endeavor to be different and do things that others would not attempt for a number of reasons mostly being related to a lack of ability and fear of non conformity.

This is a forum for people who think outside the box in everything they do. It doesn’t matter if you are modifying or building from scratch. It doesn’t matter what brand or brands of vehicles or components you are using. It doesn’t matter if you are working on a mini car or a bus.

We will not be asking you for donations or any kind of monetary payments. We will be asking for help in terms moderators and encouraging you to spread the word and add to our membership.

    58F100 Prostreet Startup

Post  tomget on Thu Nov 10, 2011 2:04 pm

Hey all here's a video I did of my 58F100 prostreet startup. I raced it a couple times and it does OK, but its really just for crusing on the streets-at least for me. As long as I can find a little gas money:).

58F100,SVO460 crate,485hp,C6,narrowed 9inch Strange,Detroit Locker,35spline axles,Art Morrison rear clip with 4link/coil overs, drums all the way around and lowered mono leaf spring out front. Built to NHRA specs regarding roll bars /seat install and all.

    Hi Tom,
That was quick... Glad to see you jumped right on this video thing. I really hope a lot of other guys have stuff to post. I too discovered my little Cybershot Sony did video too. It's really pretty good. Now I have a JVC HD video camera with a 64GB SD chip in it that does a great job and will do up to 5.5 hours of video in the full bore HD format. I hope to use it to do a lot mre video stuff for the forum as well as other web projects. I made your post a STICKY as I will do all of them to keep them at the top and in order. And BTW, great little video. This is exactly the kind of stuff I want to see. When you get a chance do some stuff on your other vehicles.

    Later Man...

I sent that notice out to the total membership and I really hope it inspires folks to post some videos. As for my new camera, it does a great job but I need to learn some new video editing software I have so I can edit the stuff and make it short and to the point. The big problem with HD is that it takes a lot of space and a long time to upload. I'm also hoping your quick response and posting will get the ball rolling.

    Later Man...
