Darksider's Realm

(this is not a place for lazy video game freaks. We Darksiders have been around doing our thing for decades before the mindless couch blobs latched onto the term Darksider)

DARKSIDER In the world of automotive hobbyists a Darksider is one who modifies and or customizes any and all sorts of vehicles. The Darksiders are in a class of their own simply because they endeavor to be different and do things that others would not attempt for a number of reasons mostly being related to a lack of ability and fear of non conformity.

This is a forum for people who think outside the box in everything they do. It doesn’t matter if you are modifying or building from scratch. It doesn’t matter what brand or brands of vehicles or components you are using. It doesn’t matter if you are working on a mini car or a bus.

We will not be asking you for donations or any kind of monetary payments. We will be asking for help in terms moderators and encouraging you to spread the word and add to our membership.

Very Happy Ok, if my reversed Caps and small letters didn't get to you yet, thye will evenually! LOL Just kidding. I just happened across this site while on another board for large Pontiacs. I have a 52 Studebaker on a later 70's chevvy dually chassis, a just saved from the crusher 65 Pontiac Catalina 2+2, originally a 421 tri-power/400th car, (I'll be putting in a CV-1 headed 428), and a 57 2 dr. hardtop Pontiac, also in serious need of work, but saved from being crushed! I will be putting it on a later model frame, but the original 57 Pontiac rear will be rebuilt and reused as will the original 347 engine. I do head porting, and currently in engine development process with EFI and hyd roller cams for the Pontiac V8's.
It's either a passion or affliction, this car/truck thing, but it's fun work! Very Happy Thanks for the cool board to share and learn new ideas and see others projects! I love seeing hot rods being built! More people should get not so snooty and build a cool ride sometime! I am convinced the world would be a far better place if the snobs did something fun with cars and trucks!

    Hey Studebaker,

Man, you are just the kind of guy we like here. I like what you are doing with your projects. I hope we will be seeing some pictures here soon. Postic pics and video here os kind of tricky but if you have or get a Photobucket and/or a YouTube account it's really easy to have the pics and videos in your posts here. We love videos and pics. I strongly advise you start posting one or more build threads here if you have a project or projects going. we love that stuff here.

As admin here, I make the rules, and if you have already found our five simple rules, you already know we don't have many rules and there are very few if any restrictions. I have found that when you are dealing with people who are intelligent and creative enough to actually build these kind of things you see here, they aren't the type people you see flaming and arguing about stupid and meaningless stuff. All in all I think we have a great bunch of folks here are mainly about the projects.

So welcome to the board and start posting and replying to other threads.

    Later Man...
