Darksider's Realm

(this is not a place for lazy video game freaks. We Darksiders have been around doing our thing for decades before the mindless couch blobs latched onto the term Darksider)

DARKSIDER In the world of automotive hobbyists a Darksider is one who modifies and or customizes any and all sorts of vehicles. The Darksiders are in a class of their own simply because they endeavor to be different and do things that others would not attempt for a number of reasons mostly being related to a lack of ability and fear of non conformity.

This is a forum for people who think outside the box in everything they do. It doesn’t matter if you are modifying or building from scratch. It doesn’t matter what brand or brands of vehicles or components you are using. It doesn’t matter if you are working on a mini car or a bus.

We will not be asking you for donations or any kind of monetary payments. We will be asking for help in terms moderators and encouraging you to spread the word and add to our membership.

Darksider's Realm

A message board & forum for automotive builders, fabricators and customizers who think outside the box.

While we are dreaming out loud.......

This one qualifies as the opposite as my other submittal. I can visualize a 1972 Lincoln Mark IV (pre federally mandated 5 mph bumpers) as a starting point. I checked out a nice example at the Auburn Indiana (Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg) cruise-in this summer which got me thinking. This is a car that screams for a 4-inch chop of the roof. Lower the car 2 inches, fill the wheelwells with some wide rubber and paint it semi-flat black. There is currently a Mark 4 on E-bay that would be a good start in the right direction.

but only if I want a divorce. If I were to bring another car home. I do keep an eye open for one that I can't let get away.

Got a buddy with a garage? Might keep the wife at home and you run the cover of "going to my buds house to help him on his car..." lol

StudebakerR15 - We are moving and I am rapidly filling the new pole barn with all of my "stuff". I need to complete projects before I take on anything else. Between work and moving there is no time to go help a friend without risking life & limb by not working on the new place.
