Hi Folks,
Our son Sean drives away with Jill's 15 year old Ford Explorer to deliver it to our step grandson Toby Mayfield who is now serving in the U.S. Navy. He is now in his second phase of training and will be attached to the Cherry Point Marine Air Station. It's been a good vehicle and we hope it will serve Toby well.
I know, it's just a car... It has barely left the house for over two years except for use in an occasional snow storm. In all practicality it was time to let go. Toby needs a car, and although it was 15 years old it is pretty good shape and relatively low mileage. It makes no sense for a household of two people who are retired to have five licensed vehicles. But still, it's a bit of an emotional strain to let it go.
Later Folks...
