Hi Kevin,
Yeah I know Man... It sure is quiet around here lately. So, what are we going to do to spice things up a bit? If you got any ideas throw them out there. I am hoping to see things pick up as Winter sets in and people are forced inside to dream about or in some cases work on their projects. BTW, have you started mounting stuff on that frame yet? I think I would sandblast it and coat it first as it will never be in a better way to do it than now.

I stop in from time to time and it seems like no activity here. I know I have been busier with other things during the warmer months therefore I haven't posted much on here.
Dave, I know I am repeating myself, but I still wish you had looked at the hamb site and modeled this site similar their site. I hate going down through all the different subjects looking for new postings. I like the way the hamb site and even FTE are set up. An interesting subject keeps coming back to the top and you don't have to spend a lot of time looking for new posts. I come on this site and post a lot of pictures of projects or a car show, or maybe a body working tip and I feel like its hidden under a rock and someone will have to turn over that rock to find the thread.
My hat is off to you for setting up this site!! I know you have spent an enormous amount of time getting this going, I just wish the cafeteria had less on the menu.
I'm still enthused that you're on the right track and that the site takes off!! Hopefully I'm not coming off as a complaining prick.

Hi Andrew,
I have to agree that a lot of what you say is valid but at this point it is too late to do much about it. My two greatest aggrivations are the default size of the message fonts which I have tried in vane to correct with no success and the other is the roll up fact you mentioned. Here's the rub, if I use the kind of software that does that, I have to buy it and then host it myself, second, there is no way to move what we have posted there or to make the transition seamless. We only have 60+ members and only about ten of them that post. I never had any intention of making money at this or investing a lot of time in it. In short, we're sort of stuck here. When I did this I just ended up picking something and trying to run with it. I'll be the first to agree that I made mistakes. As for the menue being too large, I will not change that for reasons of my own. The primary reason being that I am interested in all these things and if they don't have categories then they will be lost or never discussed. For example, I know you have no interest in diesels. However, I am in the process of doing some work on the TC on my '03 F-350. I know people that are well versed in this and hopefully with my work being documented and their knowledge, the Ford Diesel category will come into play. I purposely put put all the stuff in here I wanted. I for one would rather go to fewer boards for what I need. As it stands I think I am a member of at least ten boards to cover what can be covered by all the categories here. What I don't understand is why you don't just set up a shortcut or a bookmark to go directly where you want to go and let it go at that. Why are you bothered by stuff you don't care about??? Maybe I'm missing something here, but I don't see the problem...
As for complaining, don't sweat it. I don't mind. You should be able to voice your complaints here. If I can fix it or it doesn't conflict with my plan for the board, I'll try to help. The big problem is there are some things that just can't be fixed, at least not to my knowledge. If you know someone who is interested and does know about how to fix these problems, then get him or her to sign on and I'll make them a co-administrator
All the above having been said, I feel compelled to acknowledge that you are one of the original and most contributing members. Therefore you presence here is needed. I hope you will continue in spite of the shortcomings of the board.

I check in daily, but being at a standstill with stuff, I don't have much to contribute right now. Busy getting ready for Winter, yuck.
