DARKSIDER In the world of automotive hobbyists a Darksider is one who modifies and or customizes any and all sorts of vehicles. The Darksiders are in a class of their own simply because they endeavor to be different and do things that others would not attempt for a number of reasons mostly being related to a lack of ability and fear of non conformity.

This is a forum for people who think outside the box in everything they do. It doesn’t matter if you are modifying or building from scratch. It doesn’t matter what brand or brands of vehicles or components you are using. It doesn’t matter if you are working on a mini car or a bus.

We will not be asking you for donations or any kind of monetary payments. We will be asking for help in terms moderators and encouraging you to spread the word and add to our membership.

    Hey all you darksiders, I'm sort of back. I have been really busy that last couple months. Been dealing with calls to and from the lawyers dealing with the accident that killed mom 3 1/2 years ago. Had to go through all our finances, and find out whether or not we were gonna have to go chapter 7, and been dealing with my dad on his plans to obtain some ranch land. The lawsuit is nearing the end. I have two appointments next week, Monday to meet with one of the lawyers, and Thursday/Friday for deposition hearings. Second week of December is the Mediation hearing, and if a reasonable settlement can't be agreed upon, then it goes to jury trial the second week of January. So much going on, it aint even funny. The big rig's down for the cold months. The heads are off it, and it aint gonna be touched again until about April or May (winters are too damned cold to play with a big old truck outside). I may be obtaining a Cummins turbo motor, and might be swapping it in instead of the Cat. That old kitty is getting really really expensive. So, I'll try to get on here a bit more, since I have more inside time coming. I'll keep you all posted on the progress.

    Hey Joe,

    Glad you back... Got to wondering about you.... I know about that outside Winter stuff but maybe not as severe as your case. been tryin' to get some sandblasting done before the bad stuff comes.

    Hope you get your legal stuff all worked out. I don't envy you if you gotta go with the bankruptcy thing. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt.
