This is my 1967 Mustang. It was originally a 289 2v, Lime Gold with the Deluxe option.

When I bought it, it had been repainted White with a 302 4v in it. Its a 4speed manual too.

Mice lived in the headliner, the seat belts weren't done properly and dangerous.

The day I brought it home:

No idea why we had turn signals in the grill...

It's currently House of Kolor's Cobalt Blue Candy over a black base. I repainted this two years ago, lot of body work. Took me 4 years to find the perfect shade of blue that did what I wanted it to.

I've recently added a ribbed tail panel insert, something unique to '67
    '67 Mustang DSCF3023
And yes my car is currently really needing a wash!

Future plans include either Torque Thrust Original wheels, or 99-04 Bullitt wheels. It has a 8" 3.00 open in the rear right now, I plan on making that around 3.50 POSI 9". As well as adding a white with silver pearl stripe on the bottom and tinting the windows. As well as '69 Hi-back seats with custom leather, and new gauges.... and sequential LED turn signals.

I'm currently debating weather or not to drop a 351w with EFI in it before I move. No idea how long that will take. It should be a simple switch, bolt right u, (as appose to putting a big block in), but we all know how simple works. I'd just hate to get it in there to find unexpected problems then not be able to drive it if I need to. Plus I'm about to start my '56 F-600 Wink

And all this when I'm about to move. Momma always said I didn't have much sense.

It's also named Selene, after Kate Beckinsale's character in Underworld.

I know some people don't get naming a car, but when you spend hundreds or thousands of hours on something, it gets a personality and needs a name Wink

Glad to see that you came over to this site. I knew you had a Mustang, but I had never seen any pictures. Very nice car!! Really like the color!!

By the way, have you made any decisions on the bed for your truck?

    Thank you ^_^

I love that color with a passion too, once I move I'm going to re-clear it and super polish it. I'd do it now but I don't want to rush it or have it get damaged in the move. I don't think I'll ever not paint with a kandy again, it blows your mind when you lay it down.

As far as my bed, I plan on shortening the wheel space a bit, then faburcating a bed that looks like a standard F100 bed, only larger to fit the rest of the truck size. The idea is to have it look stock. The Fenders will take some work, but I might not have to trim the opening like I would on a f100 because of the wheel size, so maybe not as much as I'm thinking. Should be pretty sweet Wink

awesome car!!! i've been wanting to see it! i'm a mustang fanatic(just dont have one anymore)
    thats a beautiful colour too.
i'm currently searching for a late 80's notch back mustang, LX, it can even be a 4 banger, just really need the car itself to do the same thing you want to do... 351... i'm very prone to the notchbacks, i missed a great deal on an old police mustang, i think it was a 91, wish i could of got it....
    good luck with your mustang!

I really love teh cobalt candy, took me 4 years to decied on the perfect shade that did what I wanted it to, lol. Unfourtantly once you paint a candy... you just can't go back.

Good luck in the notchback search! I always liked the 'quad eyes' from the fox bodies.

I always liked them but I never owned one. My son has had three of them. The fastes one was the '89 GT. That thing would go over 150... I know because I was in it when he did it. Now his passion is his big old Electroglide hog. I would like to have a tericked outb '67 fastback but there ain't enough time left on my clock.

    Later...

    Hi Stephen

I really like your Mustang. I've always been a fan. I had a new 1965.
It was a nice car, but I sold it pretty soon thereafter to buy
a 1950 flathead powered 29Ford Roadster pickup. I just couldn't figure what to do with
a new car. I put some wheels/tires on it and then I was done. I couldn't
handle it. And at 20 or so-I didn't have the money or the garage to
have more than one at a time.

Your truck looks great too. Good luck with both.
