    Hey folks,

I'm currently living in Minneapolis, MN working on a '53 F100. My plans so far are to drop in a 429 Thunderjet and C6 tranny. Put in a Volare front end. Either a 9" or an Explorer 8.8 rear. Rebel Wire harness. Patch up the cab so I don't get wet or nailed with road debris. Then drive the hell out of it! I'm going to go all black at first then figure out what I want to do from there. Wish me luck...

    Hi Rick,

    First of all welcome !!!

It looks like you have a plan and a good start. I'm doing two '53s myself. Go over to the old trucks category, I think I put a link there to my truck's website and I also started what will be a build thread.

You might want to go over there and check it out and start a build thread for your project. I'm sure you will get a lot of comments and suggestions. I had that same engine and tranny in a dirt track stock car 30 years ago. It was a torque monster.

    Later Man...
